Nera Company finalizes Sugar ICUMSA 45 Sales contract with China buyer

In today’s highly competitive sugar trade sector, this achievement highlights the trust placed in

The project commenced with a meticulous selection of sugar producers, ensuring we
partnered only with those who met the highest standards of quality and reliability.
By forging strategic alliances with top producers, particularly in Brazil, we were able to secure
the premium sugar required for our China buyer.

The operation involved shipping the sugar from the port of Paniagua, Brazil, directly to the port
of destination in China. We successfully completed an initial trial shipment of 25,000 tons,
which has set the stage for an ongoing annual contract of up to 300,000 tons per month.

Our Nera’s Shanghai office played a crucial role in coordinating the logistics, ensuring seamless
communication and the efficient management of the supply chain. The sugar was stored in our
warehouse within the free trade zone, ready for prompt delivery. The key to this project’s
success lies in our ability to offer customized solutions, from flexible delivery terms to tailored
packaging options, all designed to meet the specific needs of our clients and ensure their
satisfaction.
